Eligibility conditions
- If any of this land is an SSSI, you need Natural England's consent before the RPA can offer you an agreement
- Cannot be combined with UPL6 on the same area
- At least 70% of the GLU on the base-action land must be cattle or ponies
What you'll do
A supplement to a moorland grazing action (UPL1, UPL2 or UPL3): keep at least 70% of the grazing livestock units as cattle, ponies, or both — better for moorland biodiversity than sheep alone.
